Story

A student lead initiative, bring people, artisans and artists together, losing their unique quality and family history to mass-produced goods. We created the Common Thread Project to bridge the gap between traditional craftsmanship and modern creativity.

purpose

Supporting local artisan shops modernise their brands and reach new audiences. By collaborating with artists, we turn heritage crafts into unique, quirky, and limited-edition collectibles that tell a story.

reason

A cozy living room with a rustic and bohemian decor style. Features a wooden sofa with multiple colorful and patterned pillows, surrounded by various plants, including a large potted plant and smaller plants on tables. There is a woven coffee table with books and decorative items, a rug on the floor, and several woven pendant lights hanging from the ceiling. The room has warm lighting and natural sunlight coming through a nearby window, with an open, airy feel enhanced by textured walls and wooden accents.

We found that day-to-day consumers are trying it harder to find authentic craftsmanship without losing the art's heritage. We build a community where artists gain recognition and artisans revive their legacy through fresh, creative partnerships
